This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for bookings at Nadi Teera Cottages, Dandeli. By confirming a booking, you accept the terms below.
1. How to Cancel
Send a cancellation request from the same email or phone number used for booking to:

Cancellation is effective from the time we acknowledge your request, not the time you send it.
2. Refund Slabs
Refunds are calculated on the advance amount paid:
- 15 days or more before check-in: 90% refund (10% retained as processing charge).
- 7 to 14 days before check-in: 50% refund.
- 3 to 6 days before check-in: 25% refund.
- Less than 72 hours before check-in or no-show: No refund.
Peak-season bookings (Christmas, New Year, Diwali, long weekends) are non-refundable once confirmed.
3. Date Change
One free date change is permitted if requested at least 7 days before check-in, subject to availability and any rate difference. Date changes within 7 days of check-in are treated as a cancellation followed by a fresh booking.
4. Early Check-out
If you check out earlier than the booked dates, the unused nights are non-refundable.
5. Activity Refunds
If a booked activity (rafting, kayaking, jungle safari, etc.) is cancelled by the operator due to weather, water levels, or safety reasons, the activity portion will be refunded in full or replaced with an alternative of equal value. Stay charges are not refunded in such cases.
6. Force Majeure
For cancellations caused by floods, government restrictions, road closures, transport strikes, or other force majeure events, we will offer rescheduling to an alternate date within 6 months. Cash refunds in such cases are at our discretion.
7. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days from the date of confirmation.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Bank or gateway charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount.
8. Booking via Travel Partners / OTAs
If you booked through a third party (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, travel agent, etc.), the cancellation and refund policy of that platform applies. Please raise the request with them directly.
